HOW TO Use
Step 1
Always follow ideal medical conditions & aseptic techniques when dressing a wound

Step 2
Irrigate and clean the wound site to prepare the wound bed and then carefully dab the area around the wound dry with sterile dressing pads.
Step 3
Vliwasorb adhesive should be applied with the blue side facing away from the wound and should extend beyond the wound by about 2-3cm. Avoid creases or folds in the dressing.

- Vliwasorb adhesive requires secondary fixation (e.g compression or retention bandages as appropriate).
- Change when the absorbent capacity of the dressing has been reached dependent on the individual wound condition. Vliwasorb adhesive may remain in place for up to 7 days if the absorption capacity had not been reached.
- Select the most appropriate shape and size of Vliwasorb adhesive, following assessment of the area to which it will be applied.
MODE OF ACTION
-
Has a skin-friendly, bi-elastic, adhesive membrane which
allows the superabsorbent polymer with high absorption & retention
capacity. -
Impermeable to bacteria, it reduces microbial load by retaining
microbes in the wound dressing.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION
wounds alongside surface wounds in the exudation phase, including:

1 - Arterial & Venous Ulcers

2 -> Postoperative Wounds

3 - Laparotomy Wounds
