HOW TO Use
Step 1
Cleanse the wound with Microdacyn and gently dry the wound edges.
Step 2
Apply Vliwaktiv Ag Absorbent Activated Charcoal Dressing with silver with the dark activated charcoal side facing the wound.
Step 3
The dressing change interval is determined by the clinician in charge dependent on the wound condition.
- The size of the dressing depends on the wound size & should overlap the wound by at least 2-3 cm.
MODE OF ACTION
- Retains Endotoxins and combines the Odour-binding Characteristics of Activated Charcoal with the Anti-microbial action of Silver.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Vliwaktiv Ag prepared using the active carbon with silver is intended for the treatment of critically colonized, infected, or offensive smelling and/or wounds with increased risk of infection.
